As a child, summertime was often spent at the beach with family and friends.
We would spend our days playing in the water and exploring the sand dunes. When we would get thirsty, there was an old well on the beach that we would drink from. The water was always running and smelled of iron. Rusty streams were etched into the sand, a full spectrum of oranges and reds, with little channels of cool running water. These rivulets captured my imagination. I often wondered what little creatures would drink from these streams when we weren’t there.

These leather, feather, and carnelian gemstone earrings were inspired by those memories.
