'FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENTS'
Functional movements are those that mimic real life activities and involve multiple joints and muscle groups working together. They focus on whole body movements, like: squatting, lunging, reaching, balancing, lifting + carrying, and getting down and up off the floor.
They are crucial for performing day-to-day activities with ease... especially as we age.

"I have been teaching classes since 2007, and am stoked to be offering online functional movements classes."

Each 60-minute class is comprised of a warm-up, core stabilization, strength + mobility, and a final stretch.
(Props: dumbbells, resistance bands, broom handles, chairs, blocks, blankets, and some wall space.)

These classes are good for ALL level of students, and anyone who is looking to move with greater ease and confidence.
