'Into the Wild Unknown' - Handmade, one-of-a-kind, leather, feather + Labradorite earrings.
 
I have reached a fork in the road... a choice point, that has me feeling both nervous and excited. 
 
It reminds me of when I used to go walking in the Assiniboine Forest. The trek would always begin the same... on a well marked gravel path... but somewhere along the way, a deer trail would coax me to step off the gravel and onto the forest floor. For hours, I would wind my way through the woods, allowing myself to get lost in the adventure. And, every now and again, the path would split, and I would have to make a choice about which way to go.
 
The path of life is much the same. Sometimes we are on the broad road with everyone else, and at other times, we are on solo adventures deep in the woods. No matter which path we take, every now and again we will come to a fork in the road... a choice point. 
 
When was the last time you stepped off the beaten path and took the road less traveled?

These earrings were inspired by my forest adventures: the bark of the scrub oak, dried prairie grasses, deer trails, and ponds.
