'Diamonds on the Water' - Brass + Leather Earrings

In the late afternoon, when the warm sun dips down towards the horizon, the sunlight shimmers and dances on the lake's liquid surface. In our family we call this phenomenon 'diamonds on the water', and these earrings were inspired from this special time of day.

I cut two Brass circle in half and placed the 3-layers of leather fringe in between.

Two hand-crafted Copper rivets hold each earring together.
